The
Brisbane fringe markets account for around 709,800 sqm of office space, which is just over
40% of the size of the Brisbane CBD market. There are five main fringe office precincts,
Spring Hill (170,600 sqm), Milton (168,200 sqm), Toowong (74,600 sqm), South Brisbane
(148,900 sqm) and Fortitude Valley (147,500 sqm). |

precinct has lost market share over the past 20 years to the rapidly expanding suburban
malls, it still retains its position as the largest shopping destination in South Australia,
with particular strengths in the department store and fashion retailing sectors. |

Love or Lust: Are the resources companies in Western
Australia in for the long haul?
|

developers, the Western Australian economy looks set to continue its course of strong
economic growth together with low interest rates, an increasing population, the equivalent
of full employment and strong migration. So while investors and developers are cautious
about speculative development, the market fundamentals appear to be well balanced. |
